I’m based in West Auckland and have worked with children for many years as an early childhood teacher. I now work therapeutically with children and young people through grief, loss and the many other challenges they may be facing. I’m committed to creating a safe, trusting space for children, and helping them move at their own pace.
Therapy sessions are held in a small playroom setting in Glen Eden and are based on a foundation of psychodynamic psychotherapy. They usually include therapeutically supported play, conversation, and a variety of forms of creative exploration depending on the child or young person and what they may need and feel drawn to at the time. I also work alongside whānau, offering guidance to caregivers navigating their own grief while supporting their child. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at home and exploring the local beaches and bush.
